Pottery Throwdown 2024!

We have a mobile touring potter joining us for the weekend! Bringing wheels to our studio (because there has been so much interest!) We are holding our first throw down! Each session will hold four potters - so nice and attentive. 

Come and spend time on a wheel on this beginners guide to throwing on the wheel. 

A £15 deposit paid to secure your spot, with the balance payable due on the day. Due to the costs of bringing in an outside tutor this workshop unfortunately can not be refunded through no shows or late cancellations. If we can fill your space we will of course refund! 

Your pots will then travel back to dry, be fired and glazed off site. All explained at the beginning of the workshop. 

Spend 1.5 hours crafting with clay. The session will include a demo and introduction to the ceramic process. You will throw pots on the wheel with plenty of encouragement, guidance and support. All abilities are welcome - suitable for ages 8 years plus. After the session you will be able to choose from a selection of artisan glazes to have your pieces coated in.
